Clay Pottery / Ceramics Classes

Evening Wheel Classes 6:30-8:30
$370.00 tuition + $50.00 supply fee* Call to reserve your spot!

*Supply fee covers first bag of clay, glazes, and kiln firing time

Mondays: March 11th with Aga Siuda  (beginner) Register

Tuesdays: March 12th  with Karen Rodeheaver (intermediate) Register

Wednesdays: March 13th with Debbie Chitwood (intermediate) Register

Thursdays: March 14th with Claire Long (beginner) Register

* Basic pottery tool kit required

 

We will start this session with an introduction to the pottery wheel and throwing technique. Small class size accommodates both beginning and intermediate students and allows each person to work at their own pace under the teacher's guidance.

Learn the basics of throwing clay on the wheel and hand building while enjoying the friendships created in our clay community!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of kiln firing, student pieces occasionally explode or are otherwise damaged. The Clay Cottage and Art Studio does its best to prevent damage to your work; however, there is the potential that any piece fired in the kiln could incur damage beyond our control. By allowing your pottery to be fired at the Clay Cottage and Art Studio, you acknowledge this risk and will not hold the studio liable for any damage to your work. Thanks for understanding! 

Open Studio
(available for ongoing students only)
Enjoy a little extra time to complete unfinished projects or practice your skills
